Southlink – Project Update May 2017
We are pleased to report that construction of Stage 1 of the Southlink development is 99% complete. Construction of the KFC, Hungry Jack’s and Caltex buildings were completed at the end of April and all three businesses are now open and trading.
The building which will contain Autobahn and the other small food tenancies is in its final stages of construction and it should reach practical completion in the coming days. Once the building is handed over to the tenants they will then take between 4 and 8 weeks to complete their fitouts before commencing trade.
Stage 2 of the development is currently undergoing some planning amendments and a revised development application will be made in the coming weeks. As soon as that amended development application is approved construction will commence, which is mostly likely to be in the final quarter of this year.
